Happy 2024 to all of our subscribers. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you who have been on this Life after Debt journey with us. When we launched in 2023, we truly had no idea what the response was going to be and to say I am eternally grateful is an understatement. I am a firm believer that God gives each of us giftings that are not for our sole purpose, but for those around who we can bless with our giftings.
With that said, I truly walked through the hardest season of my life in 2008 filing bankruptcy and experienced all the shame and guilt around that. While it served to be the biggest challenge for us personally, it turned out to be our greatest blessing because it was out of that season that we were able to help thousands of individuals out of "their own mess" so they did not have to face what we did and that was a huge success for all.
When I think about 2024 and all of you, I want to challenge each of you in just two main areas that I believe will have the biggest impact in your financial life. Are you ready?

Learn to Say “No”
Learn to say "No" to spending on the wrong things and only say "Yes" to the areas of spending that truly allow you to live the life you love. I shared my own areas that I simply say No to because I could take it or leave it like flying first class. It never matters how much I make, I think paying so much more to fly in the front of the plane and eat a mediocre meal is so overrated and I just will never pay more for that service. This month, spend time thinking of your absolute Yes things and if you are spending outside of those, STOP!
